Description

You will support an analytical team building and improving algorithmic trading strategies for power and commodity markets. Responsibilities include simulating and valuing batteries, developing optimization strategies (aFRR, ID, multi-market), and dispatch/control validation for battery, solar, and CHP systems. You will collaborate with DevOps on deploying prepared models into a Kubernetes (k8s) environment.

Responsibilities

• Simulate and value batteries for customers
• Develop optimization strategies (aFRR, ID, multi-market)
• Dispatching and monitoring/control validation of battery systems, solar plants, and CHP (cogeneration) power plants
• Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy prepared models into a Kubernetes environment

Requirements

• Python programming experience
• Analytical thinking
• Interest in energy and commodity markets
• Willingness to work daily with AI tools
• Very good knowledge of Czech and English
• University degree in a technical field
• Advantage: experience with Pandas, k8s, GitLab, and PostgreSQL
