Description

You will develop backend software in C++ under Linux to process machine, position, sensor, and process data. The work includes designing algorithms and functions for controlling, automating, and optimizing machine and work processes. You will collaborate with software developers and system engineers on architecture and design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement algorithms and backend functions

• Process machine, position, sensor, and process data

• Develop functions for control, automation, and optimization of machines and work processes

• Analyze complex technical problems and find robust solutions

• Write clean, structured, testable, and long-term maintainable software, including unit and integration tests

• Investigate errors, debug issues, and analyze performance

• Work with software developers and system engineers and contribute to architecture and design decisions

Requirements

• Strong knowledge in C++

• Experience with or interest in software development under Linux

• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures

• Analytical thinking and enjoyment of complex technical questions

• Commitment to writing clean, testable, and maintainable code

• Experience with Git

• Willingness to question solutions and bring in own ideas

• Very good German language skills for teamwork

• Training or degree as Fachinformatiker, technical informatics, or in electrical engineering

• Prior knowledge in land technology is a plus
