Description

You will design, develop, test, and maintain C++ software components for a drone uncrewed traffic management system. The role impacts real-world customers, including drone pilots operating internationally, by building reliable components within large-scale infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver features used by drone pilots worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain C++ software components for the system

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational requirements into reliable technical solutions

• Work on large-scale infrastructure elements to ensure scalability, performance, and availability

• Implement features and enhancements used by drone pilots and customers worldwide

• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and continuous improvement of development practices

• Document technical designs and contribute to system operational procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing in C++

• Ability to code in a Linux/Unix environment (Linux C++ toolchains)

• Knowledge of the latest C++ (14/17/20) standard is appreciated

• Familiarity with C++ compatible languages such as C, Java, and Python

• Good understanding of JavaScript, XML, and SQL

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to software reliability and maintainability

• Familiarity with software engineering best practices, version control, and automated testing

• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Proven experience with large-scale or distributed systems is preferred
