Description

You will analyze technical requirements and derive specifications, develop machine software for controls and drive technology, and commission machines and systems. The role includes tests, optimization, control adjustments, functional acceptance, troubleshooting, and customer support, including on-site service, validation/qualification, and customer trainings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and derive technical specifications

• Develop machine software for control and drive engineering

• Commission machines and systems on the software side

• Perform tests, optimization, and adjustments to the controls

• Review machining/processing programs and support test runs

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Conduct acceptance and functional tests on machines

• Perform on-site service calls and support customers

• Carry out validation and qualification measures at customer sites

• Analyze and resolve faults in control and drive engineering

• Deliver customer trainings on product technology, functions, and applications

Requirements

• Completed training as an Electrical Technician or Mechatronics Technician, an apprenticeship in automation or mechatronics, or comparable qualification

• Programming knowledge in common control systems, ideally KUKA, B&R and CODESYS

• Good English skills (spoken and written)

• Independent, structured, analytical, and goal-oriented working style

• Strong willingness to travel
