Description

You will work in the IT Steering team to manage IT cost management and to support the continuous development of IT risk and IT security management. The role covers planning, controlling, reporting, and creating performance indicators and measures, while also identifying IT risks and driving governance and response planning for security threats. You will coordinate internal and external audit activities and lead projects within your scope.

Responsibilities

• Own IT cost management within the team
• Plan, monitor, and report IT costs
• Further develop IT controlling, creating KPIs, concepts, and measures to achieve targets
• Provide regular reporting to department heads, committees, and the executive board
• Support the further development of IT risk management and IT security management
• Create requirements and guidelines to ensure IT security in day-to-day IT operations
• Identify IT risks, maintain an IT risk inventory, and feed risks into OpRisk management
• Define countermeasures and contingency plans for different attack scenarios
• Coordinate and support internal audit reviews, external SGVHT reviews, and supervisory audits (e.g., 44 audits)
• Lead projects in your area of responsibility (IT risk management / IT security management)

Requirements

• Bank training with additional qualification (e.g., Sparkassenfachwirt/-betriebswirt) or a university/technical college degree
• Ideally: initial professional experience in IT cost management, IT regulatory topics, IT risk management, and IT security management
• Familiarity with common IT standard applications (e.g., IT cost manager, Rimago) and MS Office
• Independent, responsibility-driven working style
• Strong analytical skills and strong numerical understanding
• High planning and decision-making ability
• Good implementation capability and strong teamwork
