Description

You will complete a structured, hands-on dual apprenticeship to become an IT specialist for system integration. The program focuses on setting up and maintaining IT workplaces, learning how computers, servers, and network components work together, and gaining fundamentals in Windows/Linux and virtualized environments. You will progressively take on your own tasks and projects, including scripting with PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Set up and support IT workstations; install and configure hardware and software; assist employees with IT questions
• Learn how computers, servers, and network components communicate and operate together
• Gain insights into administering Windows and Linux systems and virtualized IT environments
• Analyze faults, find root causes, and solve problems systematically
• Learn user rights management, data backup, restoration, and IT system protection
• Learn PowerShell and increasingly take ownership of your own tasks and projects
• Learn how to plan, set up, operate, and secure modern IT systems

Requirements

• At least a Realschulabschluss with good grades in Mathematics and Computer Science
• Interest in computers, technology, and digital systems
• Curiosity about how technical systems work
• Logical and structured approach to problem-solving
• Enjoyment of error finding and finding solutions
• Careful and reliable working style
• Teamwork and willingness to help others with technical issues
• Openness to learn new topics
• Sense of responsibility and willingness to learn
