Description

Evaluate, initiate, and implement the necessary software development activities based on a predefined software architecture for military shipbuilding. Reduce complexity through decomposition, implementation concepts, and software design, and connect individual artifacts. Create and manage system, component, and unit-level requirements and test specifications in DOORS.

Responsibilities

• Assess, trigger, and implement all necessary activities within software development based on the provided software architecture
• Reduce complexity by decomposing problems, creating implementation concepts and software designs, and linking individual artifacts
• Create specifications for system, component, and unit level in DOORS for requirements and test specifications
• Evaluate the overall architecture and architecture elements against time, quality, and cost requirements
• Coordinate with the development team on tasks, problems, and blockers during execution
• Support the team in planning and implementing work packages

Requirements

• Completed STEM degree or training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with relevant additional training and long-term professional experience; or an equivalent qualification
• Very deep knowledge of writing software requirements using SMART
• Very good knowledge of modern C++ and hardware-near programming
• Multi-year professional experience as a Software Engineer
