Description

Join an established neuroscience group to start a Neurohospitalist program in the East Valley. You will provide daily neurohospitalist coverage for a Stroke Certified facility with double coverage, while acute stroke telestroke coverage is handled separately. The role offers a 7 on/7 off schedule and access to unique cases across a range of complexity.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient ICU neurohospitalist coverage in collaboration with critical care specialists
• Work with an established team of outpatient neurologists, neurointerventionalists, and neurosurgeons
• Participate in teaching opportunities for hospital-based neurology
• Manage stroke-related inpatient cases within the facility’s stroke-certified workflow

Requirements

• BC/BE in General Neurology
• AZ license and DEA (or ability to obtain)
• Stroke Medicine fellowship welcome but not required
• MD or DO
