Description

Join an established neurohospitalist program for a Stroke Certified facility. Provide daily inpatient coverage with double coverage and acute stroke support via telestroke from a separate service. The role includes complex cases and teaching opportunities for hospital-based neurologists.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient ICU neurohospitalist coverage in partnership with critical care specialists

• Deliver neurohospitalist care for a Stroke Certified facility

• Coordinate acute stroke care supported by telestroke services

• Collaborate with an established team of outpatient neurologists, neurointerventionalists, and neurosurgeons

Requirements

• BC/BE in General Neurology

• Stroke Medicine fellowship welcome but not required

• Experienced neurologists and new graduates encouraged

• Current Arizona license and DEA, or ability to obtain
