• Role: Applied AI Engineer (Mid/Senior)

• Work mode: Full-time on-site in Prague, 5 days/week

• Engagement: Contractor agreement (IČO), 400–600 CZK/hour (excl. VAT)

Description

Build and operate production AI solutions used by clients and in company products, including AI agents, enterprise integrations, and MCP servers. You will define specifications (e.g., OpenAPI), plan agent work, implement with strict code review and testing, and run infrastructure with CI/CD and monitoring—handling incidents when they occur.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents for real production tasks
• Build integrations with enterprise systems
• Create and operate MCP servers
• Own deployment and operations: infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring, and incident handling
• Clarify assignments and explain technical decisions to non-developers

Requirements

• Native-level Czech or Slovak (written and spoken)
• English at least B2
• Minimum 5 years of paid developer experience after studies with production-running code
• Experience building and operating a production application on infrastructure you manage (AWS, GCP, Azure, VPS, or bare metal); PaaS like Vercel/Heroku/Netlify/Render/Railway doesn’t count
• Daily hands-on development using coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor agent, etc.) on real tasks, with a workflow from specification → plan → agent work → review and tests
• Full-time on-site in Prague, 5 days/week
• Contractor (IČO) rate between 400–600 CZK/hour (excl. VAT), not exceeding 600 CZK/hour
