Description

You will work as a Legal Consultant (Volljurist) specializing in data protection & IT security, providing expert support to clients. The role includes advising clients proactively, building and optimizing data protection management systems, conducting data protection impact assessments, and drafting privacy-related documentation and contracts. You will also support privacy audits and assist clients during data incidents, hacker attacks, and ransomware events.

Responsibilities

• Act as an external data protection officer for clients
• Proactively advise clients and identify individual needs
• Develop privacy-compliant solutions tailored to client requirements
• Support and accompany data protection audits
• Analyze, build, and optimize data protection management systems
• Perform data protection impact assessments and create legal documentation and contracts (e.g., VVT, AV agreements, joint-controller agreements)
• Assist clients during data protection incidents, hacker attacks, and ransomware events

Requirements

• Degree as a Volljurist or a successful Master’s degree in business law
• Strong motivation for data protection and IT security; ideally initial professional experience (e.g., Finance, E-Commerce, Health)
• Technical affinity with ideally basic knowledge of IT infrastructure
• Customer-oriented attitude and confident client communication
• Structured, proactive, solution-oriented working style
• Open, communicative, team-oriented, resilient; respectful way of working
