Description

You will support Engineering as a technical IT security officer, including the implementation and operations of a new development environment. The role focuses on optimizing CI/CD pipelines and using Infrastructure as Code for secure, scalable management while ensuring audit readiness. You will ensure the environment complies with ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz and implement monitoring and logging for continuous audit capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support as a technical IT security officer

• Accompany the implementation of a new development environment

• Operate, expand, and maintain the environment, including patch management and scaling via Infrastructure as Code

• Optimize the DevOps pipeline and ensure integration of modern tools

• Use Infrastructure as Code to keep the environment scalable and efficient

• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz requirements

• Implement monitoring and logging processes to keep the environment audit-ready

• Monitor adherence to security guidelines for different protection levels

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Systems Engineering, or comparable qualification with strong focus on infrastructure and security

• Proven experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere) and containerization

• Deep knowledge of information security management systems (ISO 27001), ideally including BSI IT-Grundschutz and other applicable regulations

• Secure handling of Infrastructure as Code and DevOps methodologies

• Ability to assess technical solutions for functionality, auditability, and security

• Independent, structured working style; trustworthy, with integrity and reliability

• Very good German and English skills
