Description

Work on technology behind AI by building and improving software that enables deep learning workloads to run efficiently on specialized AI hardware. You will develop, test, debug, and optimize components in the Intel Gaudi software stack and its PyTorch integration, focusing on performance and engineering quality. Hands-on Intel Gaudi development experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and improve software components within the Intel Gaudi software stack and its PyTorch integration

• Use C++ and Python to investigate issues and improve software quality

• Debug and profile code, identify performance bottlenecks, and troubleshoot complex technical problems

• Develop and maintain automated tests using pytest and PyTorch testing utilities

• Contribute to CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and Jenkins

• Reproduce bugs, validate fixes, and prevent regressions across supported environments

• Own medium-sized tasks end-to-end (investigation → implementation → testing → code review)

• Contribute improvements and upstream pull requests when appropriate

Requirements

• 3–5 years of software development experience with strong C++ and Python skills

• Mandatory: hands-on development experience with Intel Gaudi or similar GPU accelerator software

• Experience working with PyTorch internals or another deep learning framework

• Basic knowledge of GPU/accelerator programming: CUDA, SYCL, or OpenCL

• Experience with Linux, Docker, Git, and debugging tools

• Familiarity with automated testing, particularly pytest and PyTorch testing frameworks

• Experience with CI systems such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions

• Ability to independently deliver medium-sized technical tasks and contribute to code reviews
