Description

You will support a core back-office application by maintaining, enhancing, and evolving existing functionality. The role includes implementing new features, resolving incidents, and fixing bugs in a business-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing applications (primarily Clipper/XBase++ and VBA)

• Analyze business requirements and implement new functionalities and processes

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues with business users

• Investigate and fix software bugs

• Improve the stability of the core backend system

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on Clipper development experience

• Extensive experience with DBase III tables and indexes

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)

• Experience with VBA and Microsoft Office automation

• Solid understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-oriented mindset
