Description

Ongoing locum tenens cardiac anesthesia coverage is needed in Wisconsin. You will manage 5–8 patients per shift with 7 am–5 pm shifts and beeper call, including inpatient and outpatient coverage. TEE certification (basic or advanced) and experience with regional anesthesia, invasive line placement, and complex case types are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac anesthesia care across case types including open heart, thoracic, vascular, neuro, OB, and trauma

• Perform regional blocks, spinal anesthesia, and epidural anesthesia

• Place and manage arterial lines and central lines

Requirements

• TEE certification (basic or advanced)

• Regional blocks, spinal, and epidural anesthesia experience

• Arterial and central line placement experience

• Experience with open heart, thoracic, vascular, neuro, OB, and trauma cases

• Availability: 1–2 weeks per month with weekend availability
