Description

You will join a newly built Data & Analytics team that develops an internal data platform on Databricks. The role covers designing and developing data products from ingestion/ETL to the consumption layer, creating and maintaining Data Marts for analytics and reporting, and supporting data migration from the existing data warehouse. You will partner with both business and IT to solve data requirements, manage smaller data projects, and mentor junior data engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data products and data ingestion/ETL pipelines

• Create and maintain Data Marts for analytics and reporting

• Participate in migration to a new data platform

• Lead smaller data projects and initiatives

• Manage your own data domain

• Mentor junior data engineers and perform code reviews

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience delivering data products / BI solutions on Databricks or similar platforms

• Advanced SQL (query optimization and working with complex data)

• Python (at least basic skills for data processing and automation)

• Knowledge of BI principles and data warehouses (star-schema, dimensional modeling, OLAP)

• Practical experience designing Data Marts end-to-end (analysis to implementation)

• Understanding of CI/CD and release management

• Knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc.)

• Ability to lead smaller projects and communicate technical concepts in business language
