Description

You will design and implement efficient, scalable API backend services and integrate systems using the project’s chosen technology stack (PHP/Symfony or Python/FastAPI/Django). The role includes REST endpoint development, ongoing backend service evolution, relational database work, API documentation, and improvements in performance, security, and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement APIs
• Develop backend services in PHP or Python
• Build solutions using Symfony or FastAPI/Django
• Create and maintain integrations between systems
• Design and develop REST API endpoints
• Work with relational databases
• Create and update API documentation
• Test and debug developed solutions
• Optimize performance of backend services
• Ensure code quality, security, and readability
• Collaborate with other members of the project team

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience building applications in the project technology used
• Very good knowledge of API design and implementation in PHP or Python
• Very good knowledge of Symfony for PHP or FastAPI/Django for Python
• Knowledge of REST API design principles
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience integrating systems and services
• Knowledge of Git version control
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization principles for APIs
• Ability to create API documentation
• Knowledge of best practices for backend application development
• Ability to test and debug backend services
