Description

Senior C++ developer role focused on automotive software, including Adaptive AUTOSAR functionality and Driver Monitoring applications on Qualcomm QNX. You will develop C++ modules using design patterns, integrate components into a complete system, and ensure code is well-designed and testable. The position includes algorithm development, debugging, and maintaining software functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop C++ modules using appropriate design patterns

  • Create flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to capture requirements and solutions

  • Write well-designed, testable code

  • Produce specifications and assess operational feasibility

  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system

  • Document and maintain software functionality

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback

  • Comply with project plans and industry standards; keep software updated with new features

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Electrical Electronics, or M.Tech/M.Sc in Electronics/Instrumentation

  • 5+ years of hands-on Automotive C++ development and automation framework design

  • Strong Object-Oriented Design skills

  • Proficiency in C/C++ (C++17, C++23) and VC++ programming

  • Qualcomm QNX/Linux experience (preferred: SA8255/7255)

  • Application algorithm development experience

  • Hands-on IPC mechanisms: shared memory, message queue, and sockets

  • Hands-on experience implementing multi-threaded applications

  • Knowledge of design patterns: structural, behavioral, creational

  • Ability to debug and resolve Linux/QNX core dump issues using GDB

  • Experience with Adaptive AUTOSAR and SOME/IP service interfaces, including Ethernet communication

  • Knowledge of CANoe/CANoe Ethernet and REST bus simulation tools

  • Automotive environment experience for ADAS/AD functions

  • (Preferred) Domain knowledge in Driver Monitoring Systems

  • Experience writing unit tests with GTest and GMock

  • Hands-on experience with Vector tools: HW, CANoe, CANalyzers, CANape, C/CAPL, panel designing, signal generator

  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN and UDS (and related tools)

  • Ability to design, build, and bring up test benches

  • Experience with revision control and issue-tracking tools such as JIRA/DOORS/Coverity

  • Business-level English; good team player aligned with project needs
