Description

You will independently program and further develop process control systems and create/implement configurations and function plans in coordination with operations. You will configure interfaces between PLS and external controllers (SSPS) and long-term data acquisition (PIMS), and handle system projects from modernization through maintenance. You will perform function tests, support commissioning, contribute to plant change concepts and safety discussions, and keep technical data up to date in CMMS and SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Independently program and further develop process control systems (PLS)

  • Create and implement configurations and function plans with operations

  • Configure interfaces between PLS and external controllers (SSPS) and long-term data acquisition (PIMS)

  • Manage projects from modernization to maintenance independently

  • Monitor schedules and costs and ensure quality

  • Conduct functional testing and support commissioning

  • Participate in concepts for plant changes and support safety discussions

  • Maintain technical data in CMMS and SAP

Requirements

  • Completed education as a state-certified technician (Electrical, Measurement/Control/Regulation, or Automation) or equivalent qualification

  • Professional experience in PLS programming with Emerson DeltaV and with safety-related PLC systems (HIMA)

  • Knowledge of IT/OT security

  • Confident use of MS Office and SAP

  • Very good German skills and required English proficiency

  • Initiative, structured working style, teamwork, and communication skills

  • Willingness for international exchange within the corporate group
