Description

Join a clinical faculty position in anesthesia and perioperative care delivering evidence-based, patient-centered anesthesia for complex, high-acuity cases. You will support innovation through teaching, departmental service, participation in Grand Rounds and M&M conferences, and engagement in quality initiatives. Ideal candidates have strong general OR experience and are comfortable working independently across diverse clinical settings, including multiple campus rotations.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia and perioperative care for complex, high-acuity patients
• Teach residents and medical students
• Perform departmental service
• Participate in Grand Rounds and Morbidity & Mortality (M&M) conferences
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree; board eligible or board certified in Anesthesia
• California Medical License or equivalent Special Permit (or Special Permit application submitted) from the California Medical Board
• All qualifications must be met by time of hire
• For assistant rank and above: fellowship trained or equivalent advanced training/experience beyond anesthesia residency
• Strong general OR experience
