Role: DevOps Engineer

Focus: Kubernetes Platform Service (KPS) operations and DevOps implementation (CI/CD, automation, containerization, infrastructure/configuration as code, and cloud-native tooling).

Description

Help strengthen how modern IT solutions are built, delivered, and operated by applying DevOps culture and tooling. You will handle incidents and service requests for the Kubernetes Platform Service (KPS), perform KPS upgrades (e.g., OpenShift/Rancher/ArgoCD), optimize operations, and build automated solutions through technical consultancy. You will also prototype, test, troubleshoot, and implement DevOps best practices into development.

Responsibilities

• Solve incidents and service requests for NNIT KPS customers
• Perform KPS upgrades for applications defined in the KPS scope (e.g., OpenShift, Rancher, ArgoCD)
• Optimize KPS operations
• Build automated solutions as a technical consultant
• Analyze available technology solutions
• Create prototypes of future products for evaluation
• Test at different levels
• Search for and eliminate errors
• Incorporate best DevOps capabilities into development
• Advise customers on their DevOps journey and implement required tooling and techniques

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a technical/engineering operations role (operations specialist/engineer, DevOps, SRE, or similar)
• Experience with one or more of: GitOps, Kubernetes (OpenShift, Rancher), Helm, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Key Vault), ArgoCD
• Experience with Ansible and Linux administration
• Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Experience with automation (automated deployments, testing, etc.)
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and continuous integration
• Ability to transfer and deploy necessary product components
• Ability to reconcile Agile, ITIL, and DevOps concepts in both technical and business contexts
