Description

Build production-grade full-stack and backend solutions for AI-driven insurance decision workflows. You’ll work on advanced systems spanning performant data pipelines, distributed systems, machine learning models, and robust infrastructure, collaborating with a global team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers. The role emphasizes real production impact from day one.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship scalable backend solutions for production AI products
• Work at the intersection of large/performance data pipelines, distributed systems, and ML
• Contribute to full-stack development using modern frontend technologies
• Improve reliability, performance, and quality through iterative development
• Take ownership of projects and proactively communicate blockers and progress

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems
• Experience with a modern frontend framework, preferably React
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript; comfortable with Python
• Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem solving
• Comfortable with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Experience with cloud environments and serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2)
• Experience with asynchronous workflows
• Ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion with limited oversight
• Proactive communication with stakeholders
• Care deeply about quality and iterative improvement
• Curiosity about AI, data, and real-world machine learning applications
