Description

You will provide technical leadership while staying hands-on with Python Full Stack development. The role focuses on building AI-powered capabilities for wholesale credit and lending technology platforms, supporting architecture decisions and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team

• Build and implement solutions using Python Full Stack

• Design scalable, enterprise-grade systems

• Develop or integrate AI-based capabilities into applications and platforms

• Support architectural and technical decisions across the workstream

• Conduct and oversee high-quality code reviews

• Establish modern engineering standards and development practices

• Collaborate with engineering managers, architects, and technical stakeholders

• Help modernize and decommission legacy platforms

• Improve data quality, traceability, lineage, and governance

• Support adoption of “golden source” architecture principles

Requirements

• Strong Python Full Stack engineering experience

• Prior Tech Lead / Lead Developer / technical owner experience

• Strong database knowledge, particularly PostgreSQL

• Hands-on experience developing AI-enabled applications or features

• Understanding of AI/LLM integration into enterprise software

• Strong architecture and system design capabilities

• Excellent code review skills

• Progressive engineering mindset and modern development practices

• Ability to make pragmatic technical decisions in a fast-moving environment

• Experience delivering scalable enterprise applications
