Description

You will acquire competencies in modern energy, communications, and automation technology while combining academic study with practical training. During business practice periods, you will rotate through different areas of the company in the network region, with deeper insights into energy grid operations in semesters 5 and 6.

Responsibilities

• Learn about modern energy, communications, and automation technology
• Explore related fields such as mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, and fundamentals of electrical engineering and IT
• Join different company areas during semester breaks as part of practical training
• Build practice-oriented knowledge through hands-on tasks
• Gain deeper insights into energy grid operations in semesters 5 and 6
• Experience various task areas, including planning as well as reliable construction and operation of energy and building technology
• Understand connections between energy-economic framework conditions and operations

Requirements

• Abitur or general university of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife)
• At least good grades in language, natural sciences, and mathematics
• Ideally hold a valid driver’s license (PKW)
• Mobility, independence, and personal initiative
