Description

Manage and maintain IT infrastructure operations, including helpdesk, printing services, backups, network equipment, and access control/time & attendance systems. Perform IT project procurement assessments, run IT asset lifecycle management and inventory, and respond quickly to solve user IT problems—prioritizing production continuity. Support local information security implementation and troubleshoot production systems such as SAP, SCADA, and MES.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain IT infrastructure and services (helpdesk, printing, backup, network equipment, access control, time & attendance)
• Conduct initial assessments for information system project procurement (IT solutions/equipment assessment)
• Manage IT assets through the full lifecycle (issuance, recovery, transfer, scrapping), including twice-yearly inventory and accessory/consumable stock monitoring
• Provide strong service awareness: fast response, training support, and first-to-troubleshoot attitude to ensure production is not impacted
• Troubleshoot and support production-required systems (SAP, SCADA, MES, etc.)
• Support information security management: local implementation of HQ strategy and related certification activities
• Establish and manage O&M work systems (service SLA, response time standards), assist cross-department coordination, and support team management (attendance, weekly reports, short-term task allocation)

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an IT Engineer and some management experience
• Czech and English proficiency (English as working language)
• Experience maintaining infrastructure servers and manufacturing-factory IT equipment
• Knowledge of IT room operations in manufacturing factories
• Familiarity with common software and strong troubleshooting abilities, including remote management support protocols/tools
• Familiarity with production systems such as SAP, SCADA, and MES
