Description

Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native and Ionic. Implement reusable, modular code in JavaScript/TypeScript, connect to RESTful back-end services, and deliver UI that feels native with strong performance, testing, CI/CD, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile apps using React Native and Ionic
• Use native APIs and plugins for GPS, camera, and biometric authentication
• Work with designers to implement pixel-perfect, responsive UI with animations
• Integrate back-end services via RESTful APIs and manage data caching and state (Redux/Context API)
• Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing; debug platform compatibility, memory usage, and UI performance
• Write platform-specific code when necessary (iOS: Swift/Objective-C; Android: Java/Kotlin)
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)
• Prepare releases for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Optimize performance using lazy loading and caching strategies
• Apply security best practices (encryption, secure storage, authentication) and update dependencies regularly
• Stay current with framework updates and apply modern practices (e.g., React Native hooks, Capacitor updates)

Requirements

• 5–7 years of mobile app development experience
• Strong knowledge of React Native and Ionic Framework
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with Capacitor and Cordova
• Ability to integrate custom native components (Swift/Objective-C and/or Java/Kotlin)
• Understanding of app release/versioning and CI/CD processes
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs
