Description

The Senior Solution Architect defines the technical vision and roadmap for secure, scalable, developer-friendly identity capabilities. The role drives architecture and delivery for workforce and customer identity, including Zero Trust access, passwordless authentication, fine-grained authorization, identity governance, and AI-driven threat detection. You translate product and business needs into technical specifications, integrations, and distributed application solutions while aligning engineering, product, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product management and leadership to shape the technical direction
• Research industry trends and recommend architectural approaches
• Architect and develop scalable, high-quality software using repeatable methodologies
• Drive solution design aligned with enterprise strategy and architectural best practices
• Mentor architects and developers; review designs and code for alignment with patterns/frameworks
• Identify critical architecture components and guide teams for reliable deployments
• Produce documentation, best practices, and architectural guidance
• Act as a subject matter expert and influence/educate others
• Deliver complex integrations with minimal direction
• Design and build distributed applications (e.g., .NET, Java, Node.js) including prototypes, production code, and test frameworks

Requirements

• Deep experience with Identity & Access Management platforms
• Strong expertise designing and developing complex software in .NET and/or Java
• Proficiency with microservices, web applications, modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular), and NoSQL/SQL databases
• Understanding of web protocols, architectures, servers, proxies, load balancing, and high-availability patterns
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), distributed systems, and persistence technologies
• Knowledge of OOP, design patterns, SOLID, and architectural best practices
• Agile/Scrum experience, test-driven development, and building resilient, observable systems
• Grounding in REST, JSON, SOAP, and modern integration patterns
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, architecture, and code
• Strong debugging abilities for complex, multi-layered problems
• Familiarity with UML, sequence diagrams, and producing architecture blueprints
• Ability to create maintainable, optimized, well-structured code
• Thought leadership and strong communication to influence and educate stakeholders
