Description

Develop and maintain cloud and data platforms by building and evolving web applications across backend (Python) and frontend (JavaScript). Implement secure REST APIs, run services on Kubernetes, containerize applications with Docker, and support CI/CD pipelines. Design and optimize data stores including PostgreSQL and Snowflake, and perform code reviews in large projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop web applications with Python (FastAPI, Flask) and JavaScript (React, Next.js)
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL and Snowflake databases
• Conduct code reviews in large, long-term codebases
• Deploy, manage, and debug services running on Kubernetes clusters
• Build and containerize applications using Docker
• Design secure REST API interfaces with JWT/OAuth2 authentication
• Maintain and configure CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Use Git for version control (branching, pull requests)

Requirements

• Full-stack experience in Python (backend) and JavaScript (frontend)
• Practical experience with FastAPI and Flask for REST APIs
• Practical experience with React and Next.js (SSR/SSG, routing, state management)
• Experience with code reviews in large, long-lived codebases
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes (deployments, services, ingress, configs/secrets, scaling, pod debugging)
• Knowledge of Azure
• Database experience with PostgreSQL and Snowflake: schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Proficiency with Docker and containerization best practices
• Strong Git knowledge: branching strategies, pull requests, conflict resolution
• Understanding of RESTful API design, JWT/OAuth2 authentication, and security best practices
• Experience with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions and GitLab CI
