Description

Locum tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology coverage is needed in North Carolina with inpatient hospital responsibilities and 7am–7am pager call coverage. The assignment requires hands-on OB procedures, including C-sections, VBAC, breech delivery, and management of multiple births, along with OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I and Level II). Laparoscopic procedures, including tubal ligation, are also required, with leave coverage starting soon.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient OB/GYN care and round on assigned patients
• Maintain 24-hour pager call coverage during scheduled shifts
• Complete phone consults and see patients as needed
• Manage admissions and ongoing inpatient care
• Perform required OB procedures and related ultrasound services

Requirements

• Ability to provide 24-hour pager call coverage (7am–7am)
• Required: C-sections, VBAC, breech delivery, and multiple births
• OB ultrasounds required — Level I and Level II performance and interpretation
• Laparoscopic procedures required — tubal ligation
• Availability for leave coverage starting soon
