Description

Join as a Manufacturing Automation Engineer to launch and improve production lines and equipment from validation through final start-up. You will collaborate with suppliers and technical centers, implement technical upgrades, and drive efficiency improvements while minimizing downtime through monitoring, failure analysis, and preventive actions. The role also includes creating and managing technical documentation according to MES and internal standards and supporting/training the technicians team.

Responsibilities

• Implement new production lines and equipment, from validation to final start-up
• Work with suppliers and technology centers to tune equipment and ramp up production
• Plan and execute technical improvements to production lines
• Increase production efficiency (automation, lean approaches, higher output/UPH)
• Monitor equipment status, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime (target < 2%)
• Analyze failures and implement preventive measures
• Create and manage technical documentation per MES and internal standards
• Support, train, and coordinate the technicians team

Requirements

• Education in automation, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation, machines, production, or maintenance
• Practical experience with Siemens PLC development environment (TIA Portal) is an advantage
• Ability to work with technical documentation (PDM knowledge is a plus)
• Proactive and responsible, focused on finding solutions
