Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data from various sources. Develop and manage data models in cloud data warehouses, and implement data quality checks with monitoring and alerting. Collaborate with analytics and BI developers and integrate SaaS data via APIs and connectors.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data loading and transformation
• Develop and maintain data models in cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse)
• Implement data quality controls, monitoring, and alerting
• Work with analytics and BI developers to optimize data structures for reporting and dashboards
• Integrate data from SaaS and operational platforms such as Salesforce and NetSuite
• Manage and improve data orchestration using tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar
• Support data governance and document data lineage
• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to the strategy for a modern data stack

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong SQL skills
• Programming in at least one language (preferably Python)
• Practical experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar)
• Ability to build and maintain ELT pipelines (dbt, Fivetran, Airbyte, or own solution)
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Workato, Airflow, Prefect, or similar)
• Understanding of data modeling concepts
• Ability to integrate data from SaaS platforms via API or native connectors
• Ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical colleagues
