Description

You will implement and operate IAM solutions and controls based on designs and standards set by IAM architects and security leadership. Responsibilities include identity lifecycle automation, core access capabilities (SSO, federation, MFA/passwordless, conditional access, RBAC/ABAC, least-privilege), IAM integrations, access certification, privileged access management, and AI-assisted automations for routine IAM operations. You will also monitor IAM platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain logging and backup/recovery, ensuring AI-driven changes have verification and human-in-the-loop approval.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and operate IAM solutions and controls
• Maintain identity lifecycle (Joiner/Mover/Leaver) with automated provisioning and deprovisioning
• Configure core IAM capabilities: SSO, federation, MFA and passwordless, conditional access, RBAC/ABAC, and least-privilege
• Develop and deploy IAM integrations/connectors with cloud, SaaS, enterprise systems, directories, authoritative sources, databases, and APIs
• Execute access certification and review campaigns; perform entitlement clean-up; configure segregation of duties (SoD)
• Operate Privileged Access Management: credential vaulting, secrets rotation, session management, just-in-time/just-enough access
• Build automation scripts/workflows and IAM tooling using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, SCIM, Terraform, or similar
• Monitor IAM health; troubleshoot and resolve access issues; perform patching/upgrades and hardening
• Maintain IAM logging, alerting, monitoring; run backup and recovery per runbooks and resilience requirements
• Deploy AI-assisted automations and agentic workflows (triage, entitlement analysis, anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, privileged access review support, compliance evidence/documentation)
• Integrate AI agents/LLM automations into IAM operational pipelines via function calling, SCIM, REST, and webhooks
• Implement prompt templates and retrieval (e.g., RAG) over IAM policies, role catalogs, runbooks, and documentation
• Add output verification, human approval gates, and rollback paths so AI does not push changes without review
• Implement security/privacy controls for IAM AI usage (least-privilege for agents, secrets/credential handling, prompt-injection resistance, redaction, auditability)
• Monitor AI automations in production; measure accuracy/impact; tune prompts/tools/workflows; produce runbooks and support audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years hands-on IAM implementation/operations experience
• Experience with an enterprise IAM/IGA/PAM/federation platform
• Solid IAM concepts: identity lifecycle, authentication/authorization, SSO, federation, MFA, RBAC/ABAC, least privilege, privileged access
• Knowledge of IAM protocols/standards: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect; plus SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos
• Experience configuring IAM controls/policies/connectors and access governance workflows
• Scripting/automation with at least one of PowerShell, Python, Bash, REST APIs, SCIM, Terraform
• Ability to collaborate with engineering/security/compliance/business stakeholders
• Ability to follow and improve defined IAM/security processes and execute changes from tickets/runbooks/designs; escalate design-level questions
• Practical AI-assisted automation experience: AI agents, LLM integrations, prompt engineering, secure AI usage with sensitive identity data awareness
• Good communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
