AI Software Engineer (backend-focused)

Description

Build and deliver complete modern AI solutions, primarily in Python backend. You will integrate external REST APIs and cloud services, work with databases and blob storage, implement RAG systems, voicebots, AI agents, and data pipelines, process unstructured documents and technical drawings, connect AI models to existing customer applications, and deploy/run solutions in cloud and on customer premises. You’ll also collaborate with solution architects, ML developers, delivery management, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end AI solutions in Python (primarily backend)
• Integrate REST APIs and cloud services
• Work with relational databases and blob storage
• Implement RAG, voicebots, AI agents, and data pipelines
• Process documents, technical drawings, and unstructured data
• Connect AI models to existing customer applications and systems
• Deploy and operate solutions in the cloud and directly in customer environments
• Use AI tools actively during software development
• Collaborate with solution architects, ML engineers, delivery management, and customers
• Improve internal frameworks, tools, and development standards

Requirements

• Experience developing backend applications in Python
• Practical experience developing and integrating a larger application/system
• Ability to develop and integrate REST APIs
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Practical knowledge of Docker and good orientation in Linux
• Active use of AI tools during software development
• Understanding of customer business needs and the value delivered
• Willingness to learn new technologies, experiment, and find working solutions
• Independence, responsibility, and proactive attitude
• Ability to collaborate in a team and communicate openly
• Ability to talk with customers, understand their needs, and translate them into a technical solution
