Description

You will actively develop and operate cloud infrastructure in a hands-on role, building the DZ HYP Cloud using IaC (Terraform) together with GitHub-driven workflows. You will monitor cloud services, manage incidents, and take responsibility for project or sub-project leadership. The role also includes onboarding and ongoing knowledge sharing within the team.

Responsibilities

• Content-related support and further development of the DZ HYP Cloud based on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) using GitHub

• Active monitoring of the DZ HYP Cloud and services, including incident handling

• Ownership of project or partial project leadership

• Use of standard Microsoft Azure interfaces

• Onboarding of new team members and active knowledge transfer

Requirements

• Proven multi-year experience implementing and operating cloud infrastructures, preferably on Microsoft Azure

• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) and CI/CD (preferably GitHub)

• Broad knowledge of infrastructure services

• Scripting skills (preferably Bash, PowerShell)

• Basic project management knowledge

• Completed degree in computer science or a technical/scientific (STEM/MINT) program, or comparable training

• Analytical and solution-oriented thinking

• Performance orientation and willingness to take responsibility

• Willingness to learn and embrace change

• Enjoy working in a team and teaching others
