Description

You will act as the organization subject matter expert for key experimentation and causal inference methodologies and lead medium to large, multi-stakeholder projects. You will architect, implement, and maintain scalable statistics, machine learning, and data products for internal tooling, translating complex concepts into approaches aligned with organizational OKRs. You will drive measurement roadmaps, regular insights share-outs, and a culture of quality, innovation, and experimentation, while using AI tools to build scalable data solutions with rigorous statistical integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead experimentation and causal inference methodologies
• Own medium-to-large projects across multiple groups and stakeholders
• Build and maintain scalable statistics/ML/data products for internal tooling
• Translate advanced statistical concepts into strategic approaches tied to OKRs
• Conduct in-depth analysis across all data sources to test hypotheses and identify patterns
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to shape product strategy
• Deliver the data science and analytics roadmap: continuous improvement, accurate reporting, measurement
• Provide methodological consultation and project clarity to drive results
• Lead regular insights share-outs that amplify the consumer voice
• Drive end-to-end adoption through stakeholder feedback and iteration
• Use AI tools to speed scalable data solution development while maintaining accuracy and statistical integrity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
• Required years of post-degree quantitative analysis/data science experience (7+ after Bachelor’s; 6+ after Master’s; 3+ after PhD)
• Deep understanding of advanced statistical analysis
• Expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and experimentation/causal inference methods
• Expertise in data orchestration pipelines
• Strong SQL and advanced proficiency in Python or R
• Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
• Ability to balance practical business needs with scientific rigor

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative/technical field (Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics)
• Experience leading teams responsible for data capture, measurement, and optimization
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with engineering, product, design, research leaders
• Experience in social media, online advertising, digital media, or mobile technology
• Experience with causal inference modeling, advanced statistics, and A/B testing at scale
