Description

Provide compassionate inpatient care as part of an established hospitalist team with a manageable average census of 16–18 patients and a round-robin admission model. Work a highly predictable 7-on/7-off schedule focused on patient care, supported by a dedicated rapid response team that handles codes and procedures. Board-certified/eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with an active or eligible Texas license are sought.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient care for an average 16–18 patient census
• Participate in a round-robin admissions workflow
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic inpatient conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care
• Focus on patient care with rapid response team support for codes/procedures

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active or eligible license in Texas
• Strong clinical skills in inpatient medicine (assessment, diagnosis, management)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented hospital environment
