Description

You will design, develop, and maintain stable end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, while supporting both automated and manual testing. You’ll create test scripts for functional, regression, and integration scenarios, standardize QA practices at scale, and drive quality improvements in close collaboration with developers during Scrum execution.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable end-to-end test automation frameworks

  • Write and run automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration scenarios

  • Implement, document, and evolve QA standards, procedures, and best practices

  • Work closely with developers to analyze, diagnose, and resolve defects

  • Actively participate in Scrum (planning user stories, defining acceptance criteria)

  • Track, analyze, and report software quality metrics across sprints and releases

  • Serve as a key escalation point for quality issues

  • Recommend and implement improvements to software quality and UX

  • Follow industry trends and automation tools, then apply learnings to the team

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of practical experience in test automation

  • Very good knowledge of Playwright and TypeScript

  • Experience creating and designing automation frameworks from scratch

  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, UAT, integration, exploratory)

  • Experience with AI coding agents or a strong willingness to learn quickly

  • Solid knowledge of Git and team collaboration practices

  • Strong DOM understanding and ability to write stable, maintainable locators

  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management (e.g., TestRail)

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical topics to both technical and business stakeholders

  • Experience with usability and accessibility testing

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum teams

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)

  • Proactive, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
