Description

Own architecture and code quality for projects built mainly in Python. Plan work, manage backlog and priorities, and collaborate with business to turn requirements into tasks, including estimation and scheduling. Build and develop cloud services on Google Cloud (and on-prem), work hands-on with the team, and grow the team via hiring and outsourcing cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5–6 developers (technical mentoring, feedback, 1:1s)
• Ensure architecture and code quality across Python projects
• Plan team work and manage backlog priorities
• Perform code reviews, define writing standards, ensure tests and documentation
• Design and develop cloud services (Google Cloud and on-prem)
• Cooperate with business to convert requirements into tasks, with estimation and timelines
• Expand the team through recruiting and working with outsourcing partners
• Actively contribute by writing code

Requirements

• Very good Python knowledge enabling code reviews for the whole team and resolving architecture discussions
• 3+ years of experience leading a developers team or in a Tech Lead role
• Practical experience with at least one public cloud: GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Experience managing IT projects from requirements gathering to deployment
• Knowledge of software development best practices: automated tests, CI/CD, code reviews, version control
• Ability to decompose complex problems and drive them to solutions
• Very good English
