Description

Join a collaborative behavioral health team as a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist providing essential care for children and youth from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Enjoy a stable Monday–Friday schedule with shared call coverage and flexibility for hybrid practice balancing inpatient and outpatient care. In addition to direct patient care, you will support the academic environment through bedside teaching and minor academic activities.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based psychiatric treatment, interventions, and prevention services for children and youth

  • Address behavioral health and substance abuse issues

  • Build strong therapeutic alliances and engage effectively with community programs

  • Improve mental well-being and functional outcomes for young patients

  • Meet clinical benchmarks and support positive patient progress and satisfaction

  • Contribute to teaching and mentorship for resident and fellowship programs

Requirements

  • MD or DO (or equivalent) from an accredited institution

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry (General Adult Psychiatry)

  • Active or eligible for an unrestricted license in North Dakota

  • DEA in good standing with no restrictions

  • Record of excellence in clinical care and education

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care
