Description

You will be responsible for the ongoing engineering of a highly distributed Java platform serving airlines worldwide, with the platform being containerized and moved onto Google Kubernetes Engine. The work is primarily deep platform development and redesigning parts of the system (not simply repackaging for migration). The platform supports extensibility through a Java SDK, plugins, business rules, and a no-code business process designer; PII may be present, but the role has no PCI scope.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve platform components as part of ongoing engineering

• Work on a mature Java platform with platform extensibility and user-built use cases

• Collaborate on integration, messaging, and service APIs within the platform

Requirements

• Java 11+ experience

• Spring framework experience

• Microservices architecture experience

• REST and SOAP API experience

• GCP familiarity

• SQL proficiency

• JUnit familiarity

• Containerization environments familiarity

• GitHub experience

• Maven experience

• Jenkins experience

• 7+ years of commercial experience
