Description

Build and maintain data-processing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including batch and streaming pipelines. Develop integration components using Python and SQL, working with services such as Dataproc, Composer (Airflow), Cloud Storage, and BigQuery. Collaborate with analysts and architects and support testing, monitoring, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GCP-based data processing solutions

• Create batch and streaming data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, and Cloud Storage (and DBT where applicable)

• Program in Python and SQL

• Build and optimize data structures that support analytics and reporting

• Automate deployments using Terraform and GitHub repositories

• Test, monitor, and maintain developed solutions

• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and project teams to deliver business requirements

Requirements

• Experience designing and building cloud solutions in GCP

• Knowledge of system architecture, data processing system design/implementation, and integrations using GCP services (Dataproc, Composer, Cloud Storage, BigQuery)

• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL

• Ability to independently build and develop cloud application and integration components

• Experience with GitHub repositories

• Ability to manage application artifacts with Google Artifact Registry

• Ability to build batch and streaming data pipelines with BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, and Cloud Storage

• Ability to build and optimize data structures supporting analytics and reporting

• Ability to test, monitor, and maintain solutions

• Ability to collaborate effectively in project teams
