Description

You will complete an apprenticeship to become an Application Development IT Specialist. The training focuses on learning to program and develop code for modern commerce, supported by intensive onboarding into the system landscape and the programming languages used. You’ll gradually take on tasks and smaller projects and support development of key business systems.

Role Description & Responsibilities

• Intensive onboarding into the system landscape and the programming languages used
• Take on own tasks and smaller projects once basic programming is mastered
• Support further development of the warehouse management and warehousing systems as well as online integration for customers and suppliers
• Work closely with colleagues in IT support to ensure solutions work reliably in live operation

Requirements

• Realschulabschluss or (Fach-)Abitur (by 1 August 2026)
• Enjoyment of IT, logic, and math
• Passion for solving problems and making computer systems meet requirements
• Communication skills to collaborate with team members and specialist departments
• Advantage: prior IT education/training and first experience (e.g., IT assistant training, internships, started studies, FSJ)
