Description

Provide courier services on a routed schedule for pickup and/or delivery of materials within established timeframes. When not performing courier tasks, support sample login responsibilities onsite at the Carson, CA laboratory, while ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate on an assigned routed schedule for pick up and/or delivery
• Follow traffic laws and established transportation procedures
• Load and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles
• Report mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment (gas, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes)
• Maintain vehicle logs, cargo records, and billing statements per company regulations
• Use company-provided automatic routing/location software such as GPS
• Ensure ISO 17025 compliance is maintained
• Perform miscellaneous assigned duties

Compensation

Expected salary range: $20–22/hour (base pay), depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
