Description

You will work on a banking project delivering manual testing for web and mobile applications. The role includes preparing test scenarios and cases, performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing, and managing the full defect flow (report, document, retest). You will also analyze requirements for quality risks, run basic API tests, verify data using SQL, and collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare test scenarios and test cases
• Perform manual tests: functional, regression, and exploratory
• Plan and execute regression testing
• Report, document, and retest defects
• Analyze requirements and identify potential quality gaps and risks
• Run basic API tests
• Verify data using SQL
• Work with developers, analysts, and business representatives
• Maintain solution quality across the change lifecycle
• Support creating or maintaining simple automated tests
• Contribute to improving quality standards and the regression process

Requirements

• Experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications
• Ability to independently prepare test cases
• Experience reporting, describing, and retesting defects
• Knowledge of defect life cycle and testing process
• Familiarity with Jira and Xray or TestRail (or similar tools)
• Basic knowledge of API testing
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Accuracy and analytical approach to testing
• Independence and strong work organization
• Communication skills and ability to collaborate with the project team
