Description

You will help maintain and develop production-critical systems supporting global business processes. The role combines production operations with automation (Bash/Python), root-cause analysis, and improvements to stability and performance. You will collaborate with engineering, architects, and infrastructure experts to increase reliability and reduce manual work.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure stable and secure operation of production environments
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex incidents and technical problems
  • Conduct root-cause analyses (RCA) and implement preventive actions
  • Design and develop operational automation using Bash and Python
  • Support deployments and changes in production environments
  • Collaborate with development teams, architects, and infrastructure experts
  • Improve processes, reduce manual effort, and increase service reliability
  • Analyze system and database performance plus application components
  • Use modern monitoring and observability tools
  • Mentor less-experienced team members and participate in broader technical initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Production Support, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Application Support, or related
  • Very strong Linux knowledge
  • Practical relational database and SQL experience (Oracle is a plus)
  • Advanced automation and scripting with Bash and/or Python
  • Cloud experience, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and container environments
  • Ability to diagnose problems in complex production systems
  • Experience with highly available, business-critical systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and independence in technical decision-making
  • Communicative English
