Description

You will build and evolve backend services and HTTP APIs, implement business logic and integrations, and work with asynchronous processing and databases. The role also includes real frontend development in React and TypeScript to deliver features end-to-end. You’ll collaborate on technical design decisions, perform code reviews, and mentor less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend components and create/extend HTTP APIs

• Implement business logic and system integrations

• Work with SQL/MongoDB data and asynchronous/queue-based processing

• Develop and enhance applications in Azure

• Deliver functionality spanning multiple layers of the system

• Perform frontend development in React/TypeScript when needed

• Contribute to solution architecture and technical decision-making

• Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality

• Support and mentor junior developers

Requirements

• Strong, up-to-date commercial experience with .NET/C# with a backend focus

• Experience with SQL Server or another relational database

• Experience building and maintaining APIs and integrations, including asynchronous/queue-based solutions

• Experience with Azure-based applications

• React + TypeScript experience sufficient to work on the frontend

• Experience taking features from design through implementation to production

• Strong technical communication and comfort discussing architecture and design

• Plus: MongoDB, Redis, SignalR, Ocelot (or similar technologies)

• Plus: Experience in finance, regulated, tax, or compliance projects; knowledge of VAT/indirect tax/tax technology is helpful (not required to have prior tax-industry experience)
