Description

Lead the design, build, and maintenance of internal platforms that enable development teams to self-serve deployment and application management. Integrate AI-enabled platform capabilities (GenAI, intelligent agents, AIOps) to improve automation, reliability, and developer productivity. Standardize tools and frameworks across teams while ensuring platform reliability, high availability, performance, and a strong developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain internal platforms for self-service deployment and application management

• Develop and update standardized tools, libraries, and frameworks to optimize development workflows

• Guide adoption of AI technologies on the platform: GenAI, AI agents, AIOps

• Integrate development tools and services within the platform ecosystem for multiple teams

• Enhance developer experience with documentation, training, and support

• Ensure platforms deliver high availability, reliability, and performance

• Use DORA metrics to assess and improve development and operational processes

• Monitor industry trends to incorporate emerging technologies and boost platform capabilities

• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for smooth application integration

• Provide technical guidance to resolve platform issues and improve system health

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field

• Strong knowledge of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies

• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep; and with GitOps tools Flux or ArgoCD

• Familiarity with Crossplane, Pulumi, and/or AWS Controllers for Kubernetes

• Experience using internal developer platforms such as Backstage, Humanitec, or OpsLevel

• Understanding of high availability, high performance multi-data center systems and hybrid cloud environments

• Scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python

• Strong troubleshooting abilities for system resource and application stack issues

• Experience with native AI cloud services: AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI

• Ability to design, build, and operate AI agents and agentic frameworks; experience with coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, Trae, Antigravity)

• Proficient English communication skills (speaking, writing, reading)
