Description

You’ll work on systems that power passenger information displays and audio announcements in airports and rail stations. The stack includes Java 25 (Spring Boot), distributed MongoDB, and TypeScript/React on the frontend, with an opportunity to contribute to audio hardware development in Rust. The role requires both solid architectural thinking and the ability to go deep into implementation details, including assessing AI-suggested changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop a microservices-based passenger information system for airports and rail stops
• Build and maintain backend services with Spring Boot (Java)
• Work with distributed MongoDB for data storage
• Implement and improve the frontend using TypeScript/React
• Optionally contribute to audio hardware development (Rust backend with React frontend)

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java (Spring is the main focus)
• Experience with any front-end framework (not necessarily React, but willingness to move into React)
• Willingness to learn new technologies; TypeScript/React or Rust experience is a plus (not mandatory)
• Ability to make independent architectural decisions and defend them
