Description

Get to know the field of computer science and software development through a dual program. You will grow into a competent point of contact for Java, JavaScript, SQL, software quality, microservices, IT security, and more. Along the way, you will complete practical assignments in areas such as Business Intelligence or E-Commerce, while working in agile teams on real IT products—from idea to rollout and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Learn computer science and software development
  • Build expertise in Java, JavaScript, SQL, software quality, microservices, and IT security
  • Gain practical placements across IT areas (e.g., Business Intelligence or E-Commerce)
  • Work with agile methods in software development teams
  • Contribute to IT products from concept and development through rollout and operations

Requirements

  • Proof of passing the Nordakademie selection test
  • Abitur (good high school diploma)
  • German language level corresponding to B2
  • Very good to good grades in Math, English, and Informatics (if offered at school)
  • Enjoy analytical thinking, teamwork, and working in an agile environment
  • Openness and curiosity for complex tasks and mathematical-logical relationships between business administration and IT
  • Basic programming knowledge; ideally some initial practical experience
