Description

The Associate Client Advocate supports the daily administration of employee benefit programs, assisting clients and employees with benefit inquiries, eligibility issues, enrollments, and COBRA administration while coordinating with carriers and internal teams. The role also supports benefits-related projects, including online enrollment system implementations, and reviews weekly EDI Feed Error Reports for assigned clients. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily administration of health and welfare plans (medical, dental, life, disability)
• Lead and participate in assigned projects related to well-being and social services, including online enrollment system implementations
• Perform client COBRA administration
• Answer benefit administration emails and assist with employee eligibility issues and requests
• Review weekly EDI Feed Error Reports for assigned clients
• Log all emails, calls, and tasks into Salesforce

Requirements

• NYS Life, Accident and Health License
• Working knowledge of Medical, Dental, Vision health and Flexible Spending Accounts required
• Four years of college or university degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with HRIS and online benefit enrollment systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while recognizing team goals
